APS and Route220 for sustainable mobility in Padua
Padua, 1st October 2018.
APS Holding chose the evway platform to manage the charging service in Padua.
During the European Sustainable Mobility Week, from September 16th to 22th, 10 charging stations were inaugurated, for 20 plugs in total: APS Holding, in fact, replaced 7 old charging stations in the city and installed 3 other charging stations.
The evway platform, interoperable with 120 European partners, manages Padua’s Charging Points with other 70.000 active points in Europe, ensuring a simple access to the charge event to tourists: it will be possibile to activate and pay the charging service, using any App or RFID of evway’s European partners.
evway by Route220 flips the way of understanding electric mobility: in addition to mapping all charging points on a free App and monitoring them to check availability in real time, the disruptive element is the added value of the charging stop.
With evway, the charging pauses become opportunities: the App, in fact, informs the user about all touristic attractions near the charging point, allowing him to take advantage of his charging pause to discover the beauties of the territory.
“The aim is to promote sustainable mobility in Italy and Europe and to improve the EV-Driver life, transforming his stop in a positive experience” says Franco Barbieri, President of Route220. “Our platform was introduced with success in many Italian cities and in many prestigious hospitality businesses in Dolomites. We are proud that APS Holding chose Route220 to be supported in this innovative project to promote the development of electric mobility and to promote sustainable tourism in the city of Padua”.
