CHARGING HAS NEVER BEEN SO EASY!
evway offers different payment methods to connect to your accounts: Ladybugs, digital payment systems, charges at the end of the month and instant payments.
You can use our electronic credit, the Ladybug, to pay the charging. 1 Ladybug is worth € 0,01 and the minimum amount is 1.000 Ladybugs equal to € 10,00. Buy your ladybugs directly from the evway App using your Credit Card, your Paypal Account or the innovative ApplePay and AndroidPay and charge all around Europe with evway App or KeyFob.
It is not possible to activate the charging – both on paid and free stations – with a negative Ladybugs credit.
Ladybugs allow you to activate the Ladybugs automatic replenishment function – active by default at login – which ensures that your credit is never negative. If at the end of the charging session your Ladybugs credit is negative (less than 0), the automatic credit replenishment function will bring your balance back to 1.000 Ladybugs, so that in the next session you will already have enough credit to charge. If the function is deactivated and at the end of the charging session your Ladybugs balance is negative (less than 0), you will automatically be charged the necessary amount to bring your balance back to 0 plus a fee of 1 €.
Digital Payment Methods
With your digital payment system – credi card, paypal… – you can pay each time for the single charging session. At the end of the session, the cost of the charge will therefore be deducted from the payment system, in addition to the commission costs (€ 1) for managing the transaction.
In order to activate the charge using the KeyFob, at least one payment method must be saved as a favorite.
Charges at the end of the month
With the method of charging at the end of the month, all charging sessions are unified into a single monthly bill. This payment methods is especially recommended for business or corporate accounts that need to manage the sessions of multiple vehicles.
If you want to recharge on an evway station without signing up to the App, you can activate and pay for the single charging session via QR code/NFC system located under the station’s sockets. By framing the QR or putting the phone near the NFC sensor, you will access a web page: follow the instructions to charge.
From October 2019, there is a new tariffs’ system for all interoperable public charging stations in Italy*, activated through evway App or KeyFob.
During the charging session a consumption rate of 40 ladybugs/kWh is applied. After the first 4 consecutive hours, for every hour – or fraction thereof – a 400 ladybugs/h rate is added to the consumption rate. From midnight to 8 am, the time rate is not applied.
Fast DC stations:
During the charging session a consumption rate of 45 ladybugs/kWh is applied. After the first 2 consecutive hours, for every hour – or fraction thereof – a 1.000 ladybugs/h rate is added to the consumption rate, valid also for the night hours.
These new tariffs are the evolution of our philosophy: to encourage and to reward the correct use of the charging stall, adding an advantage for those who – also for the lack of a personal garage – charge their car in AC during the night.
*Some public charging stations as well as stations in retail facilities or hotels have special consumption rates: we recommend that you always check the costs on the App.
